Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: residing in Düsseldorf (district: Flingern Nord, Flingern Süd, Oberbilk, Friedrichstadt, Gerresheim, Eller or Wersten) or in Wuppertal (district: Elberfeld or Barmen)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 75 years, insufficient knowledge of German, not a resident in the selected districts

number of steps assessed via pedometer (assessment via acceleromters in a subsample) at baseline as well as after 1,5-2 years

general health status (SF-1 and EQ-5D-5L), perception of difficulties (ICECAP-A), bodymass index and lifestyle via questionnaire after 1,5-2 years
