| The aim is to investigate the effect of the radio frequency of a DECT telephone and a Wi-Fi router on heart rate variance. With the help of an evaluation software, various parameters of the vegetative nervous system can be determined from the measured RR distances. The parasympathetic activity is assessed by the square mean of the successive differences of two RR intervals (RMSSD). The influence of the sympathetic is described by the stress index (SI). In order to eliminate distortions by external influences, the quotients of the parameters of the parasympathetic (RMSSD) and the sympathetic (SI) are formed without and with activated sources, which then represent the influence of exposure by radiofrequency electromagnetic fields. | — |

| The secondary objective of this pilot study is the practicality of the experimental setup in the combination of HRV measurement by ECG and the random DECT and WLAN signals in double-blind setting. The overarching goal is to research the ability to regenerate and sleep disorders. | — |
