Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Staff: staff members who are or have been involved in providing medical care for neuro-oncological patients at Heidelberg University Hospital. This includes but is not limited to physicians, researchers, caregivers, therapists, study nurses and management staff. Patients and relatives: Patients with brain tumour who are or have been in treatment at Heidelberg University Hospital as well as their relatives and other members of their support network. Relatives and other members of the patient's support network can be recruited even if the patient themself does not participate or is no longer able to participate.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Staff members: age under 18 years old, not fluent in German, no consent to participate in the study, without capacity to give informed consent Patients and relatives (or other members of their support network): age under 18 years old, not fluent in German, no consent to participate in the study, without capacity to give informed consent

The primary goal of the study is to answer the following research question: How do patients at Heidelberg University Hospital experience the processes around recruitment, decision-making and (non-) participation in neuro-oncological trials?

The secondary goal of the study is to answer the following research questions: -How do relatives of patients at Heidelberg University Hospital experience the processes around recruitment, decision-making and (non-) participation in neuro-oncological trials? -How do staff at Heidelberg University Hospital experience the recruitment, decision-making and (non-) participation in neuro-oncological trials? -How does the Covid-19 pandemic affect trial participation by neuro-oncological patients?
