Interventions

Group 1: Training with Flexibar 9 minutes daily over a period of 12 weeks. Group 2: Training with Flexibar 9 minutes daily and XCO-Trainer twice a week for 20-30 minutes over a period of 12 weeks.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Clinically verifiable epicondylitis or healthy active tennis players between 18 and 65 years of age.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: No verifiable epicondylitis, not an active, healthy tennis player, age 65 years, lack of informed consent, currently undergoing other therapeutic interventions.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Pain measured by the VAS (0-10) The VAS value is recorded prior to the start and at the end of the training phase as well as via a pain diary kept during the training.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
- Functionality, measured by means of DASH score This is filled out once before and once after the training period. - Compliance, recorded via a training diary - Gross strength according to Jamar, measured with the hand-held dynamometer The measurement is taken before and after the training period - Vibration sensation, measured with the 128Hz tuning fork The measurement takes place before and after the training period - 2-point discrimination, measured on the fingertips The measurement takes place before and after the training period - Mobility, measured according to the neutral- zero-method The measurement is taken before and after the training period - Circulation parameters, measured with the O2C The measurement is made before and after the training period
