Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Eligible for patient education - Patients with periimplantitis - Signed informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Contraindications for an MRI examination (e.g., implants that are not classified as MR-compatible or MR-safe, metal parts in a dangerous location (eye), claustrophobia, etc.). - Contraindications to an administration of contrast media (e.g., kidney diseases associated with impaired kidney function, allergic reactions, etc.). - Pregnancy and lactation

Evaluation of diagnostic accuracy (sensitivity and specificity) and reliability of magnetic resonance imaging for the qualitative and quantitative characterization of peri-implant bone lesions (peri-implantitis).

MeasureTime frame
Identification of magnetic resonance imaging parameters for a therapy response of peri-implant bone lesions after surgical peri-implantitis therapy.
