Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Treatment in a resuscitation room of the emergency department of the university hospital of Freiburg, Germany since 2012

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: No indication for treatment in a resuscitation room.

MeasureTime frame
In this retrospective analysis adresses different aspects: - Differences in the course of treatment of trauma patients and those with internal diseases, - Distribution and frequency of pathologies and leading symptoms causing critical illness treated in a resuscitation room, - Evaluation of processes and time from admission to the resuscitation room to completion of diagnostics and treatment, - Diagnostics and procedures (invasive vs. non-invasive) and frequency of certain results in pre-defined patient subgroups, - Impact of oxygenation at admission to the resuscitation room on course and outcomes, - Impact of volume therapy at admission and in the clinical course in the resuscitation room on course and outcomes, - Influence of the use of check lists for certain procedures (e.g. intubation) on success of the procedure and outcome of the patients.
