Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adult patients with newly diagnosed MM. 2. Adult patients with Multiple Myeloma treated at the University Hospital Freiburg irrespective of previous treatment (especially kind of drugs); first or second line treatment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Underaged patients, patients without Multiple Myeloma, patients with known other malignancy

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Differences of clinical symptoms in patients with stable disease and patients with symptomatic progression/relapse, respectively. Correlation of biochemical and/or radiographic progression and symptoms in MM-patients – Are clinical symptoms suitable for early detection of symptomatic progression/relapse? Assessment via questionnaire in our outpatient clinic during routine visits.

MeasureTime frame
Clinical symptoms of MM at first MM-diagnosis Analysis of previous results in a larger cohort. Differences in clinical symptoms at first diagnosis and at symptomatic progression/relapse (questionnaire). Definition of clinical warning signs of MM and symptomatic progression/relapse.
