Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Indication and performance of a total hip replacement surgery. Free standing and walking without support of aids
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: BMI = 35; Previous arthroplasty of the hip, knee, or ankle joint; Osteoarthritis in the ipsilateral/contralateral knee joint (Kellgren Lawrence scale >2); Surgical procedures on the musculoskeletal system in the past 6 months; Prior joint infections or destructive rheumatoid arthritis; Neurologic disease (e.g., Parkinson's disease, stroke with paralysis component, muscular dystrophy, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, paraneoplastic neurologic syndrome (PNS), tremor, Alzheimer's disease, chorea, Huntington's disease, polio, cerebral palsy); Lower extremity injuries; Failed consent
