Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Hemato-oncological Patients = 18 years of age at the time of the first diagnosis of blood malignancy or at the time of undergoing allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) 2. Treated at the Dept. for Thoracic Surgery or at the Dept. of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology from 01/2003-12/2020. 3. Proven/probable invasive fungal diseases (IFD) of the lung according to definition of the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer and the Mycoses Study Group Education and Research Consortium (EORTC/MSGERC).

MeasureTime frame
The complete remission of IFD after combined lung resection and antifungal therapy compared with antifungal therapy alone.
