Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Age = 75years - Coxarthrosis III-IV° according to K&L - Preoperative periacetabular bone density with a T-score of = 1 - No previous operations on the ipsilateral hip joint - No underlying malignant disease - No underlying rheumatic disease

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Age <75 years - periacetabular bone density with a T-score <1 - Previous surgery on the ipsilateral hip joint - Known malignancy - Underlying rheumatic disease - Chromium, nickel or cement allergy

MeasureTime frame
Comparison of primary strength of Group A (cementless pressfit RM Vitamys cup) and Group B (cemented CCB cup) prostheses based on radiographic signs (secondary dislocation/loosening signs) 5 days postoperatively, 3 months postoperatively, and at least 2 years postoperatively.
