Interventions

Group 1: Participants diagnosed with cancer receive the following questionnaires at two time points. First contact (T0) and after a minimum of 6 weeks, matched to participants who finalized ACP (T1)

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Curative, palliative or former cancer diagnosis, ability to give consent, 18 years or older, sufficient understanding of German language

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Aged younger than 18, no understanding of German language, no consent, present participation in on-going RCT with focus on ACP.

MeasureTime frame
Primary outcome is the developement of the first screening tool to assess need for ACP.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Secondary outcome is the first recording of interest and utilization of ACP in an inpatient universital hospital in Germany.
