Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for participation in the study was that children, parents/caregivers and teachers gave written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants were excluded if they did not participate or were injured at the pre or post assessment.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Assessment of fitness using a Spiroergometrie with an incrementaltest on a cycle-ergometer. Both assessments took place before and after the intervention, which lasted for 5 months.

Assessment of health-related blood parameters by blood samples and assessment of body composition by using a bioelectric-impedanz-analyser Both assessments took place before and after the intervention, which lasted for 5 months.
