18 Years to 100 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Patients > 18 years of age - Outpatient or inpatient therapy in the ENT University Hospital - Patients undergoing tissue examination (gold standard) of neck lymph nodes (neck dissection, lymph node PE, lymph node extirpation). - No previous therapy of the neck lymph nodes - Consent was given

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with fine needle aspiration

Presentation of malignancy criteria in sonography of cervical lymph nodes.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Optimization of sonographic diagnostics of lymph nodes in the head and neck region by means of standardized examination procedures and reporting sequences. Comparison of sonographic characteristics and malignancy criteria with pathological, clinical and other imaging methods.
