Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - people of working age - suspected psychological/psychosomatic problems which impair social and occupational participation/ working ability - general ability and motivation to improve health and ability to work
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - acute need for action - primary indication: addiction - insufficient knowledge of the German language or insufficient cognitive abilities - previous rehabilitation in the same indication area

| Arm 1: Questionnaire survey of participants of the intervention at baseline (TL0) and after 6 months (TL1) with primary outcomes: - Questionnaire assessing social and occupational participation: Index measuring limitations in participation IMET (Deck et al., 2006: 9 items) - Questionnaire assessing psychosocial health: Hamburger Module for the Assessment of General Aspects of Psychosocial Health for Therapeutic Practice HEALTH-49 (Rabung et al., 2007: 49 items) - Questionnaire assessing health-related quality of life: Short Form-8 Health Survey SF-8 (German version by Ellert et al., 2005: 8 items) - Short scale on general life satisfaction: L-1 (Beierling et al., 2014: 1 item) - Number of days of incapacity to work in the last 6 months - Use of service of health insurance agencies during the last 6 months Arm 2 & 3: Questionnaire survey of regular rehabilitants (control group) and rehabilitants steered into rehabilitation via SEMPRE (intervention group) in the cooperating rehab facilities at the beginning (TR0) and end (TR1) of rehab with the primary outcomes: - Questionnaire assessing social and occupational participation: Index measuring limitations in participation IMET (Deck et al., 2006: 9 items) - Questionnaire assessing psychosocial health: Hamburger Module for the Assessment of General Aspects of Psychosocial Health for Therapeutic Practice HEALTH-49 (Rabung et al., 2007: 49 items) - Questionnaire assessing health-related quality of life: Short Form-8 Health Survey SF-8 (German version by Ellert et al., 2005: 8 items) - Short scale on general life satisfaction: L-1 (Beierling et al., 2014: 1 item) - Number of days of incapacity to work in the last 6 months (TR0) - Duration of illness at the start of rehab (TR0) - Time between application fo rehab and start of rehab (TR0) - Satisfaction with the rehab (TR1) | — |
