Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Active soccer players (18-35 years old), at least three training sessions per week + game.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: presence of an infection, discomfort or general health impairments, injuries in the area of the legs (e.g. acute muscle or ligament injuries), diseases of the cardiovascular system or the lungs and the intake of dietary supplements

MeasureTime frame
What: The performance of healthy subjects was measured. When: Performance was measured after intake of 600mg New Zealand Black Current (NZBC) and once without the intake. Instead, subjects were administered a placebo. The NZBC / placebo was taken on the first two days at breakfast and on the third day two hours before the measurement. How: The measurement was made using the Yo-Yo Intermittet Recovery Test Level 1, which is an intermittent running test.
