Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients in geriatric care who have delirium according to a recognized test instrument (4AT or CAM or CAM ICU) and the clinical assessment of a geriatrician, Overcoming the delirium in the course of the stay.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Pre-existing moderate or severe dementia (MMST<20), Pre-existing psychotic illness, Major depressive episodes, Delusional disorders.

| The exploratory single-arm study design will be multicentric and will include both qualitative and quantitative aspects. The study will help to identify starting points of delirium treatment and the relationship between subjective experiences and objectiviable data analysis. | — |

| 1) What emotions are prominent in the memory of delirium? 2) Are there certain circumstances or behaviors of the caregivers, that were felt to be particularly stressful or helpful for the patients? 3) Is there evidence for an association between specific medication groups and either amnesia or unpleasant memories? 4) How are drastic measures such as forced medication or fixation remembered? 5) How does the length of delirium from the patient's record compare to the subjective feelings of the patients? 6) How many patients have amnesia for the period of delirium? | — |
