Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - inpatient or day-clinic DBT based treatment - Minimum age: 18 - satisfactory Knowledge of German - able to give informed consent - treatment on a voluntary basis

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - patients unable to give informed consent due to being under guardianship - unsatisfactory German language knowledge

MeasureTime frame
Predicition of therapy response based on various clinical, cognitive and demographic characteristics of patients, see above. For the analysis multilevel analyses and multiple Regression will be used. Therapy response is operationalized as a change in borderline symptomatology measured by Borderline Symptom List-23 and a change in depressive syptoms measured with Beck Depression Inventory-II and Montgomery Asberg Depression Rating Scale.
