Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - osseous mature individuals AND - availability of CT imaging of the pelvic anatomy with =3 mm slice thickness

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - existence of lesions of the pelvic ring affecting the pelvic ring’s geometry OR - evidence of fractures of the acetabulum OR - evidence of fractures of the femur head OR - existence of hip prosthesis implants OR - evidence of the existence of tumorous lesions destroying the hip joint

To evaluate the sex determining potential of measured parameters of pelvic anatomy (acetabular cavity measurement, femur head center-to-center distance) based on measurements in diagnostic CT studies from skeletally mature individuals.
