Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The study will be conducted with 18-65 year old participants, diagnosed with social anxiety disorder (F40.1). Social anxiety disorder will be diagnosed via the structured clinical interview I for DSM-5 (SCID-I). Healthy control participants will be aged 18-65 and will not meet diagnostic criteria for any mental disorder.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Following exclusion criteria will be applied: Current severe depressive episode with or without psychotic symptoms (F32.2, F32.3, F33.2 or F33.3), current Borderline or Antisocial personality disorder, acute suicidality, acute or lifetime schizophrenia, delusional disorder (F2x.x) or bipolar disorder (F31.x), current substance addiction (alcohol, heroin, amphetamine, cocaine: minimum abstention 12 months), current severe neurological disorder of the central nervous system, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), coronary artery disease, heart insufficiency, anemia, body mass index >30 or <18, language problems, non-correctable viewing or hearing limitations.
