Group 1: Patients with Tibiashaftfracture,
Functional assessment is performed after 4, 8, 12, 25 and 51 weeks. Gait Analysis is performed to assess weight load and Joint angles.

18 Years to 65 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - Age 18-65 years - Informed consent - Willing and able to complete all visits including travelling to study site
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - Fracture at any other location including fracture of the proximal tibia with involvement of the knee joint. - Conservative treatment or treatment by external fixation. - Any gait restriction prior or unrelated to the fracture. - BMI = 31.
