Group 1: Experimental group: standard surgical preparation and the presentation of a clinic-specific C-section-information video Group 2: Control group: standard surgical preparation

18 Years to 50 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Planned caesarean section in single or multiple pregnancies - Patients who receive their first C-section - Sufficient German language skills to participate in the questionnaire survey - Written consent - Minimum age >= 18 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - previous C-section - Indication for secondary, urgent or emergency section ceasarea - serious diseases or an increased risk of complications during surgery (e.g. placenta accreta, increta or percreta) - known serious diseases of the foetus - diagnosed generalised anxiety disorder or other serious mental alteration - lack of mental, physical or linguistic ability to participate in the questionnaire survey - anaesthesiological contraindication against spinal and epidural anaesthesia

- Comparison of the post-operative mobilisation-time and the duration of the patient's stay in hospital between groups. - Comparison of the quantity and severity of intra- and postoperative complications between the study arms. - Evaluation of the patient's subjective stresslevel based on clinical and biological parameters (vital parameter, steroid hormone production) - Comparison of infantile postnatal parameters (APGAR, pH) between the therapy arms. - Consumption of analgesic and concomitant medication peri- and postoperatively. - Patient satisfaction	—
