Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Applying convinient sampling physical therapists who 1) treat persons with stroke-related mobility impairments in an outpatient setting, 2) are licensed as physical therapist in Germany, and 3) work in a practice in Baden-Württemberg, Rheinland-Pfalz or Hessen will be recruited. For organizational reasons, observations will only take place in practices that are about an hour's drive from Heidelberg. While physical therapists are the primary participants of the study, people with stroke are also participants; for these, the following inclusion criteria will be applied: Individuals suffer from stroke-related mobility deficits and are able to walk at least five steps with the assistance of a person. In addition, the improvement of mobility (e.g., being able to walk further distances or to go to the toilet alone) should be one of the therapy goals of these persons.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Therapy sessions with admission or discharge evaluations and those that address primarily non-motor problems are excluded.

| In addition, the number of repetitions of task-oriented training within physical therapy sessions of stroke-related mobility impairments will be recorded. The number of steps taken by people with stroke within the session will be recorded using a step counter (activePAL -Posture & Activities Loggin). Time spent in actice and passive interventions will be collected via a digital time logging system. Demographic data of participating therapists (age, work experience in years, highest academic degree, certification in continuing education in neurological physical therapy yes/no, number of therapists in workplace, university affilitation yes/no) will be recorded using a short questionnaire. | — |
