Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Diagnosis of schizophrenia (ICD-10: F 20.x) German native speakers, sufficient IQ level (IQ > 85)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Inability to provide written informed consent, acute suicidality, comorbid Axis-I-Disorder (as per SCID-interview), neurological disorders, left-handedness (Edinburgh Inventory (Oldfield, 1971) = 8/10), metal implants in the body, disorders that are known to affect brain metabolism (hypertension, pulmonale, cardial or renal disorders, drug dependency), other psychiatric disorders, substance use (as per urine screening)

| Brain activation during processing of humorous stimuli, measured using functional magnets resonance imaging (fMRI) before (T1) and after the interventions (T2, i.e. after 7 weeks). Healthy controls will be measured at T1 and T2, without intervention in between. | — |
