Interventions

Group 1: 150 children with congenital heart defect following surgical operation with use of a heart lung machine will be included. The following parameters will be screened on days 0 to 7 after the op
Pelod, pSofa, Vasoactive-inotropic score, intensive care treatment procedure score, Aristotle-Score). For the diagnosis of an infection all routinely collected microbiological findings are collected.

Inclusion criteria: Written and signed informed consent by the parents Congential heart defect elective corective surgery with use of a heart lung machine 5th day of live up to 18 years

MeasureTime frame
Usability of the biomarkers MR-proADM for the prediction of an infection in patients following a surgical correction of a congenital heart defect with use of a heart-lung machine will be determined. Therefore, routinely collect microbiological findings as well as plasmatic inflammation parameters will be collected and compared with the measured values of MR-proADM

Attempt to correlate the measured values of MR-proADM with the intensive care unit stay of the recruited patients.
