Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ICD 10 F11.2 or F19.2 (main drug opioids)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - urgent need for psychiatric or somatic treatment - no voluntary participation - missing informed consent

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Survey how overdose emergencies were dealt with by trained participants, incl. use of Take-Home Naloxone (semi-structured interview, continuously while in contact with participants)

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
- Knowledge on dealing with overdose emergencies, incl. Take-Home Naloxone (questionnaire before and after drug emergency training for all participants; catamnestic questionnaire at least 3 months after training for a random sample of trained participants) - Elaboration of best-practice models for the implementation of drug emergency trainings, incl. Take-Home Naloxone (structured survey of experiences among training providers, participants and cooperating institutions, e.g. emergency services; at the end of the project)
