Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - presence of a therapy-resistant esophageal stenosis - clinically relevant stenosis with problems, e.g. when swallowing/drinking or stuck aliment - all previous illnesses and pre-OPs (e.g. patients who have already been balloon-dilated in the operating room and at home, as well as all other methods such as stent placement, injection of Volon A are included)

Exclusion criteria: less than tree balloon dilations

| Stable sternum width of the esophagus, which does not require any further intervention, measured during the endoscopic controls carried out every 4 weeks in the operating room. We assume stable stenosis if no further dilation is necessary and the diameter calibrated with the balloon was the same as the previous examinations. | — |
