Interventions

Group 1: Experienced CI-users will perform audiometric testing delivered by a self-assessment tool and will undergo audiometric clinical tests delivered in a clinical research environment

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: proficient in German unilateral cochlear implant Advanced Bionics HiRes90k since at least 12 months contralateral hearing aid since at least 12 months

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: cognitive impairment no history of neurological or psychiatric diseases

MeasureTime frame
Comparison of speech comprehension in dB SNR assessed with the clinically used Oldenburg Sentence Test and the results of the self-assessment form of this test. Tests are conducted on consecutive days.

Correlations between spectro-temporal modulation results with audiometric tests.
