Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: People with a diagnosed dementia with no severe hearing problems.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria are a planned move to a nursing home of the person with dementia within the next three months. Exclusion criteria for family caregivers are serious unstable or progressive illness, lack of German language skills, serious psychiatric diagnoses, obvious cognitive impairment, and parallel participation in another study for family caregivers.

In addition, the feasibility of behavioural observations during home visits will be investigated.
