Group 1: All included Patients receive a dental examination and (if clinically indicated) an dental panoramic radiograph and (if clinically indicated) additional targeted x-ray scans of specific teeth

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with end-stage chronic heart failure listed for cardiac transplant, patients with end-stage chronic heart failure prior to implantation of a Left-ventricular-assist-device (LVAD) or patients with LVAD listed for cardiac transplant, who received a clinically indicated Dental-CT-scan. Patricipants could be male or female (age 18y or older). All participants have to be capable of giving consent and have to voluntarily agree to participate in the trial.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Non-feasibility of oral examination due to reduced general condition of health, known hepatitis A,B or C, tuberculosis or HIV, know addictive disorders (alcohol), current pregnancy.
