Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: no obvious cognitive deficits severe Hearing loss German as mother tongue

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Dementia, sever cognitive deficits psychiatric comorbidities other severe handicaps which Prevent for sufficient audiometric testing

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Questionnaire Scores on Hearing related life Quality (APHAB, NCIQ) Speech perception scores in quiet and in noise (uni- and bilateral). Presurgical best aided measurements will be compared to postOP results at six months and at twelve months after implantation.
