Inclusion criteria: x Age = 18 years x Signed informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: x Severe acute or chronic diseases or any other condition which, at the discretion of the investigators, would interfere with the safety of the subject or with the study results x Diabetes Mellitus x Rheumatologic disease x Acute cardiovascular event within the last 3 months (myocardial infarction, stroke) x Pregnancy or breastfeeding x Active known malignancy excluding basalioma and in-situ carcinoma x Systemic g glukocorticoid therapy

Differences in PESI-MS spectra of optimally handled samples (immediate handling) vs. samples with delayed (1, 2 ,4, 24 hours) centrifugation.

Differences in PESI-MS spectra from optimally handled plasma samples vs. samples with non ideal freezing/thawing cycles: A) Non ideal freeze: Storage at -20°C, thawing at 4°C B) Non ideal thaw: Storage at -80°C, thawing at 21°C C) Extra cycle: Storage at -80°C, 2 thawing events at 4°C
