Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Acquired 4D flow MRI data fulfills quality criteria (e.g. no aliasing artifacts in the area of interest), patient with congenital heart defect after surgical treatment of the defect, imaging was acquired in the time frame 01/01/2015 till 01/10/2020.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Incomplete MRI scan due to premature termination, non evaluable scan due to limited image quality, internal validation non plausible (e.g. Fontal input is not equal to the output).

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Analysis of flow patterns in patients with congenital heart defects with undergone surgery. Comparison of 4D flow measurements to 2D flow measurements e.g. in terms of acquisition time, validity of measurements and complexity of planning.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
In patients with Fontan circulation: Correlation of hemodynamic parameters with typical clinical parameters used to identify a Fontan failure. In patients with surgically treated Fallot's Tetralogy: Corralation of hemodynamic parameters with measurements of cardiac catheter.
