Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - Patients with solid tumours that cannot be treated curatively and patients with newly diagnosed distant metastases ICD-10-GM C00-C76, C78-C80, C97, D37-D48) - Patients who are able to take decisions and are covered by statutory health insurance - Patients who have not yet received palliative medical treatment
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with secondary and unspecified malignant neoplasms of the lymph nodes

| The following secondary endpoints are recorded at the patient level: (1) Need for support and information of patients (dichotomised variable) and their relatives (2) unplanned hospital admissions and emergency room/service contacts (3) Empowerment of the patients (4) Quality of life of the patients (5) Satisfaction with the care At population level, the following secondary endpoints are considered on the basis on health insurance claims data from the AOK Hessen: (6) Number of rescue service transports (7) Prescription of tumour-specific therapies in the last six weeks of life (8) Proportion of palliative medication in the total medication of a patient (9) Time before death of a patient at which SAPV, AAPV and palliative services of regular outpatient care were used for the first time (10) Total therapy costs At the organisational level, the following secondary endpoints are recorded: (11) Inter-professional cooperation (12) Organisational health literacy (13) Continuity of supply | — |
