Group 1: guided surgery, transgingival implant placement Group 2: implant placement with surgical flap

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: horizontal bone dimensions 5.5mm or wider vertical bone dimensions 6.6mm or higher width between neighboring teeth 5.5mm or more

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: pregnancy general contraindication for dental implants insufficient bone dimensions for implant placement without grafting younger than 18 years

Comparison of the x-rays done during a routine treatment (no additional X-rays necessary), after implant placement, after placement of prosthetic reconstruction, 1 year after implant surgery	—

Questionnaire for dentists, as well as patients, clinical parameters (keratinized tissue), planning time and treatment time needed Data is collected after the necessary steps of treatment (implant placement, impression, prosthetic restoration, 1 year after implant placement)	—
