Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients scheduled for orthodontic Class II treatment with Herbst appliance indenpendently of trial, posterior airway space on the level of line ML < 10mm (lateral cephalogram), written consent of patients and parents

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Craniofacial abnormalities, neuromuscular diseases, heart-lung diseases, implanted heart pacemaker, chronic lung disease, Asthma bronchiale (either untreated or medically treated)

MeasureTime frame
nocturnal blood oxygen levels, measured by polygraphy including pulse oximetry at home

duration of snoring, posterior airway space, daytime sleepiness
