Inclusion criteria: mechanical ventilation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Intravascular catheters and/or probes in either subclavian vein, ventilation parameters: PEEP >15

MeasureTime frame
Distance between subclavian vein and pleura at different PEEP levels, the distance is measured by ultrasound 2 minutes after changing the ventilatory setting.

MeasureTime frame
Change in the vessel diameter of the subclavian vein.
