Group 1: patients with atrial fibrillation will be contacted after 12 month and questioned about bleeding and ischemic events

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: men and women of at least 18 years of age with proven diagnosis of atrial fibrillation (at least one ECG document) with or without the indication for oral anticoagulation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: missing laboratory parameters (IP, RetHe), people working for the institution, people with severe psychiatric disease or other desease making it impossible to collect valid answers after 12 month

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
clinically relevant bleeding complications (defined as BARC =2) or ischemic events after 12 month

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
death of any cause, non-fatal myocardial infarction
