Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age> 18 years 2. Indication for the surgical treatment of esophageal carcinoma or Barrett's esophagus 3. Indication for intraoperative one lung ventilation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Refusal to participate in the study 2. insufficient knowledge of the German language 3. hearing or visual impairment
