Interventions

Group 1: In the study, transthoracic echocardiography is performed at rest and under handgrip exercise. This is done as part of the routine clinical examination.

Inclusion criteria: - male and female patients with the diagnosis of mitral regurgitation - age >18 years - informed written consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - no informed written consent - age <18 years - pregnancy
