Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Embryo quality according to Gardner and Schoolcraft (1999) at 114-118 hours post-insemination (IVF/ICSI). Categorization according to Cetinkaya et al. (2015): Top Quality (TQ): 3-6AA Good Quality (GQ): 3-6BB, AB oder BA Poor Quality (PQ): Blastocysts of inferior quality. Developmental arrest (AE): Embryos in developmental arrest after the 8-cell stage. Gardner and Schoolcraft, 1999, In vitro culture of human blastocysts, in: Towards reproductive certainty, S. 378-388. Cetinkaya et al., Relative kinetic expressions defining cleavage synchronicity are better predictors of blastocyst formation and quality than absolute time points. Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Implantation rate: The number of gestational sacs observed divided by the number of embryos transferred (expressed as a percentage, %). Zegers-Hochschild et al., 2017, Human Reproduction, 32(9):1786-1801. | — |
