Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with Parkinson's disease, completed 4-week LSVT-BIG therapy, Hoehn & Yahr: 1-4

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Severe Cardiovascular Disease (NYHA 3-4), Acute Severe Infectious Diseases, Fresh Fractures, Severe Dementia, Orthostatic Hypotension, New, Unexplained Neurological Signs and Symptoms

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Before and after the 6-week group therapy: mobility measured using the timed-up and go test, strength measured using the chair rising test and motor functions measured using the Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale Part 3 (UPDRS III)

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Before and after the 6-week group therapy: Quality of life measured with the Parkinsons Disease Questionaire (PDQ-39) and subjective assessment of the BIG for LIFE® group in a short interview.
