Interventions

Group 1: 100 patients who were operated on with the TAPP technique (+TAP block) for a recurrent inguinal hernia in the period 2007-2020.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who received elective RLHV using the TAPP technique were included

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals who received a conversion to open surgery as part of the RHLV using the TAPP technique were excluded. The simultaneous treatment of an umbilical / incisional hernia using the IPOM technique was also an exclusion criterium as well as an ASA stage greater than III and an incarceration of the hernia
