Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The diagnosis: Spastic cerebral palsy (GMFCS Level I-II) and simultaneously present Genu Rekurvatum (knee joint extension = 5° in the 3-D gait analysis) with dynamic pointed foot (dorsal extension in the clinical examination =0°, tip-toe gait in the 3-D gait analysis). Standardized clinical examination and instrumental 3D gait analysis directly before Botox treatment and 6 weeks after botulinum toxin A injection.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pre-operative treatment of the lower extremity Refusal to use the data already collected and wish to discontinue studies by the patient or the parents/legal representatives Botulinum toxin A injection within the last 6 months Walking aids (GMFCS III) Severe mental disability Non Compliance

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
After injection of botulinum toxin A into the calf muscles, significant differences in ankle joint mobility with an altered range of motion of the dorsal extension or a reduction of the toe in the stance phase (parameters of the 3D gait analysis).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Observational study It will also be investigated whether injection locations/heights have an influence on function.
