Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Older than 65 years, diagnosed essential hypertension (grade I), independent mobility, presence of subject information and signed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Presence of legal guardianship, MCI and severe cognitive impairment (TICS < 31 pts.), Increased risk of falls (Tinetti test < 20 pts.), Medical conditions associated with high risk of falls (stroke, Parkinson's disease), Vertigo disorders, Severe visual impairment, Movement restriction in shoulder joint (Abd./Flex < 90°), Travel sickness.

| 1. Exercise parameters are determined before, during and after the training sessions and include: Resting heart rate, Training heart rate, Blood pressure, Subjective perception of exertion using the Borg scale (continuous measurement), Recovery ability (heart rate 5min after training, pre/post), Maximum oxygen extraction (pre/post). 2. Physical fitness will be determined in the initial and baseline examination and will include: Values from the PWC test (Physical Working Capacity Test), Strength, Balance and Agility via the Short physical performance battery, Body composition. 3. Motivation will be determined at entry and baseline and will include scale scores and sum scores from the following assessments: Exercise Adherence Rating Scale (EARS), Physical Activity and Leisure Motivation Scale (PALMS), Intrinsic Motivation Inventory (IMI). 4. The technically reliable use is continuously checked during the training sessions in virtual reality and is reflected in the following outcomes: reliable repetition counting via the assistance system, reliable motion tracking. | — |
