Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - cochlea implant, one or both sides - Age 18 -85 years - Good German language skills according to the therapist's assessment - written consent - Patient owned, Internet-enabled smartphone with iOS or Android, with the corresponding current operating system

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: missing informed consent, Minority, Sign language as mother tongue, Insufficient knowledge of German according to the therapist's assessment, Non-correctable visual disturbance / blindness according to own statements, illiterate, by their own admission, Known mental illnesses such as severe depression or dementia
