Group 1: Genotyping MTHFR-Polymorphismen at SNP-Locus rs1801133 and rs1801131 will be done after operation of neoadjuvant treated rectal cancer. Those patinents with very good histopathological regres

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: histological verified rectal cancer within stage II-III // signed declaration of consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients without complience or patinents who are not able to travel for repetitive examinations to hospital // patients younger than 18 years // pregnant or brestfeeding mothers // secondary carcinomas // persons who are to be kept in an institution by judicial or official order

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Primary outcome of the study is genotype at SNP rs1801133 and rs 1801131. All patients from arm 1 and 2 will be genotyped at this locus after operation. Genotyping will be done by pyrolysis sequencing.
