Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Uvula bifida, zona pellucida of the soft palate, bony notch of the hard palate, velopharyngeal insufficiency, Hypo-/Aplasie M. Uvulae, persisting velopharyngeal insufficiency after surgical cleft-palate therapy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: contraindications MRI (Pacer, CI, ...); claustrophobia; disagreement, either parent(s) or patient

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Significant improvement in Scoring of the "Heidelberger Rhinophoniebogen". In Addition a significant improvement in our Evaluation- score, developed for the moving MRI in submucous cleft palate patients oder patients with a velopharyngeal insufficiency.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
clinical improvement in velopharyngeal insufficiency or a reduction of the nasal rash while speaking.
