Group 1: A young reference population with an age between 20 and 30 years at the time of examination is identified on the basis of CT scans taken at Freiburg University Hospital between 2005 and 2020

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Young reference population: -CT examinations of an elbow joint between 2005 and 2020. -Age at the time of examination between 20 and 30 years of age -adequate image quality Correlation collective: -presence of a CT examination of the elbow joint and also presence of a bone densitometry (DEXA, Dual X-Ray Absortiometry) -Age at examination at least 18 years of age -adequate image quality

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: -malformations of the elbow joint -severe degenerative changes -for the respective reference range: presence of fractures or post-traumatic changes -Inadequate imaging -<18 years

Gender-specific reference values for bone quality around the elbow in young adults.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Correlation of bone quality development in relation to patient age. Cut-off of the reference values for the presence of osteoporosis or reduced bone quality.
