Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Individuals which have been diagnosed to suffer from mild cognitive impairments (MCI).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: • other neurological diseases (e.g. epilepsy, multiple sclerosis); • cardiac disease (e.g. heart failure, pacemaker, heart valve defects); • psychiatric diseases (e.g. schizophrenia, manifest depression); • orthopaedic diseases (e.g. fractures in the last 6 months, symptomatic herniated disc); • muscular diseases (e.g. myositis or tendovaginitis); • endocrinological diseases (e.g. obesity [BMI >30], insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus type II); • acute injuries or surgery (< 6 months); • consumption of illegal drugs or alcohol abuse; • uncorrected visual or hearing impairment; • colour blindness/red-green weakness; • pregnancy; • the following additional exclusion criteria apply to MRI: Metal implants (e.g. pacemakers, brain stimulators, metal prostheses), claustrophobia, dentures, piercings, tattoos
