Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients in whom a primary adenotomy was performed at the University Hospital of Freiburg between 2005 and 2015.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients over 18 years of age and patients in whom the primary adenotomy was not performed at the University Hospital Freiburg are excluded. In addition, patients are excluded in whom the histological result of the primary adenotomy did not show adenoidal tissue but rather, for example, nasopharyngeal fibroma.

Frequency of re-adenotomies after primary adenotomy between 2005 and 2020 in the Department of Otolaryngology at the University Hospital Freiburg.

Influence of gender, age, distance between primary and secondary surgery, symptoms and experience of the surgeon on the frequency of re-adenotomy.
